Fruit Trade Tours

There are 4 tours, each on a selected route, to familiarise yourself with the production facilities of the leading agribusinesses in the south of Russia and learn the ins and outs of the fruit and berry business first hand.

In our tours you can encounter the reality of production in the Krasnodar region: modern technologies of planting orchards and vineyards, demonstration of winter operations, inspection of innovative sorting and packing lines, wineries and fruit storages, and of course, informal communication and exchange of opinions.

Tours combined with attendance at the Fruit Trade show and congress provides a complete industry experience. Places are limited, with a maximum of 15 people per tour on the chosen itinerary. A comfortable Mercedes-Benz Sprinter transfer is provided on each tour.

Fruit Trade tours will take place on 20 February 2025 in orchards and vineyards of Krasnodar Krai.

JSC Sad-Gigant

Combining the traditions of horticulture and progressive technologies!

On our tour to the largest enterprise Sad-Gigant, together with the management of the enterprise and technologists of the company ECHO-Rus we immersed ourselves in the world of long-term storage of apples.

We saw how modern technologies work to preserve the freshness and quality of apples for many months. We were shown the processes of product preparation, including sorting and packing of apples.

It was an invaluable experience and an incredible day full of insight and inspiration!

Behind the scenes of the fruit business!

Our tour started with a visit to the HOLKOR fabric located in Krasnodar, where we saw how refrigerated and gas-tight doors, refrigeration units and components of РГС/ULO/ DCA systems for long-term fruit storage are manufactured.

We then travelled to the Abinsky district, where we visited the leading apple company, Yuzhnye Zemli. The director personally showed us their state-of-the-art long-term storage facilities and modern apple preparation lines.

It was a great day filled with bright impressions! We learnt a lot about the peculiarities of apple business first hand.

Betagran Kuban LLC

Innovations in cultivation!

The tour to the apple orchard of Betagran Kuban was no less capturing. We toured the orchards and learnt about the peculiarities of fruit planting care under compacted planting scheme, as well as mechanical and manual pruning of the orchard. During the tour there were dialogues and discussions about the efficiency of such innovative technology of apple growing, the participants exchanged opinions and their experience. And we saw the results and benefits in the orchard.

The apple orchard is laid on a turnkey basis by the company Firma LTD on a stage-by-stage basis from 2021, according to a super dense planting scheme.

Chateau Pinot winery

From vine to glass!

Our tour at Chateau Pinot was filled with unique experiences and wine aesthetics. We visited snail farms and vineyards with Fruit Trade guests, then headed to the gravity-fed winery where we tasted six wine samples. We finished our tour with lunch at the Chateau Pinot restaurant.
